My house is an older timber place, can it even take solar?
Almost certainly, but the switchboard is the honest question, not the roof. A lot of Mullum's older homes are running boards that need upgrading before a modern system connects safely. We check that at the free assessment and quote it upfront, no surprise "extras" halfway through the install.
I've got big trees shading part of the roof. Is solar still worth it?
Usually, yes, it just changes the design. Panel placement, string layout and sometimes optimisers can work around afternoon shade rather than pretending it isn't there. We map the shade on-site and size the system for what your roof will actually produce, not the brochure number.
